Visit the Veg Shed farm shop
Open year round, seasonal veg, organic pantry items, local producers, no fuss.
We're not a supermarket or a food brand.
We're a group of market gardens, of small scale farms: real soil, real people, and real vegetables grown the way they should be. Come and see where your food actually comes from.

Our market garden at The Lockerley Estate was our second site, but is now the home of our veg box packing, The Veg Shed farm shop, community volunteer days on Thursdays and a thriving community connected to farming between Romsey and Stockbridge.
The Veg Shed farm shop is run on the same principles as everything else: honest, seasonal, and supporting local. You'll find our own veg alongside flour from Lockerley Estate, bread from 108 Bakery, as well as other local producers and growers delicious products. We also have a full range of organic pantry items, zero waste home and personal products, and so much more. It's a proper farm shop helping you with healthy choices for full meals, not a curated deli or gift shop.

Many farms take from the land. We're trying to give back. Regenerative or Organic farming, to us, means thinking about the soil first, because healthy soil grows healthy food, which builds healthy communities.
It's a longer game than conventional agriculture, and a harder one. But the results speak for themselves.
We don't use synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. We build soil health through composting, cover cropping, and careful rotation.
We're certified organic because the certification matters: it's a verifiable standard, not a marketing claim.
And we grow what grows well here, in this soil, in this climate, at this time of year. Which means your veg box changes week to week, because that's what seasonal actually means.
Hampshire Market Garden is run by a small core team who are all, in different ways, obsessed with doing this properly.
We're not a corporation with a sustainability department.
We're a small team of people who believe in what we're growing.
We measure success not just in yields but in the health of the soil, the strength of the community, and the number of families eating properly every week.
Every Wednesday and Thursday we welcome volunteers to our community open days on our market gardens. No experience needed, just a willingness to show up and do something real. You'll leave refreshed, probably muddy, and genuinely glad you came.
We also run school workshops, community events, and open farm days throughout the year. This farm belongs to the community around it, and everyone is welcome.
Join the hundreds of Hampshire families already getting their vegetables from a farm that cares about the soil it grows in.
